Fox Nation to debut new limited series ‘COPS: All Access with Geraldo Rivera’

Fox Nation will debut a new limited series, COPS: All Access with Geraldo, hosted by Fox News Channel’s correspondent-at-large Geraldo Rivera, on Friday, October 1.

In conjunction with the return of the iconic series COPSwhich will see its revival on Fox Nation this OctoberRivera will recap the first four episodes of Season 33 with the executive producer, Morgan Langley, as well as reminisce about the history of the classic show, which was created by his father John Langley in the 1980s.

Episode one of the four-part series will also detail the show’s origins and describe the current climate surrounding policing in America. Each Friday in October will see the release of the remaining three episodes.

“More than thirty years ago, I helped launch this epic program saluting the brave men and women of law enforcement,” said Rivera of COPS. They are the invisible line keeping society safe. As activists push for the defunding of police, while the murder rate rises to new records, cops often get blamed rather than the criminals and crooks. COPS is back to show the best of police work. “

” I and my veteran producers promise that the show will reflect the reality that bad guys can come in many colors and creeds. Crime is an equal chance offender. COPS is there to catch baddies and keep everyone safe. “

Rivera’s announcement to host the limited series is part of a recent multi-year deal to remain with FOX News Media. FOX Media CEO Suzanne Scott stated, “Geraldo is an important voice in FOX News Channel’s past two decades. We are delighted to have him remain a member of our FOX family.” “

COPS follows city police officers across the country during patrol, calls for service, and other police activities. The show has also featured both state and federal agencies, including

U.S. Customs and Border Protection

and the United States Marshals Service.

In September, Fox Nation announced it will inherit the rights to the series after it was canceled in the wake of the

George Floyd protests

. Fans will be able to catch up on the latest season before watching the new, 33rd installment. The 33-episode revival season is slated to air on Friday, October 1, with Fox Nation releasing four episodes for fans to binge. An additional episode of the revival season will be available on Fox Nation’s app each Friday.

COPS is the recipient of four

. In 1993, it earned the American Television Award for Best Reality-Based Program. To see the October reboot, sign up for Fox Nation.
